Would someone like to write a brief report on this?

ok.

T’was a dark and stormy night, when some cold and tired explorers journeyed into the unknown.

There were three teams of four, Lainy, Rosie, Alex and Styn made up the under 18s, and there was another team aswell, and ofcourse the team everyone wanted to be in. The under 16s, which contained Antony, Philip, Georgia and Lucy. This group of explorers were not only cool, but damn clever too. There was also another team consisting of the two Bens, Katie and Heward, but we don’t talk about them.

The quiz started with a round on general knowladge. Including questions like how many legs does a squid have…. 10, which were rather hard, but all of the elxplorers put their heads together…. and got mild concussion.

The next round was on food. This was most peoples speciality. But never ever trust philip when he says quarter pounders are from burger king. Infact, never ever trust georgia when she says squids have 6 legs.

Then came a round on…. places. We were all given pictures of random places around the world, some from brighton, some from italy. The explorers stormed through as each of their camps had actually been at one of these places.

obviously, i couldn’t leave georgia’s account there. so i will now continue (this will be deleted when we’re sober).

Then there were current affairs, and we were rubbesh. Naah, only joking, except for the question on bird flu which everyone got right. But that nasty little table on the other side of the room cheered when they read it out. That was downright rude. Birdflu is not something to cheer about, to roughly quote Ben. Can’t quite remember what he said but it was funny.

Then there were questions on charity. And we stuffed up mightily then. Though MY guess (this is lainie, for all those who can’t recognise me in this state) on Childline for whatever that crazy number was was amazingly right, I’ll have you know.

And then there was music. Which was not music, because there was nothing decent in it. AND THE ANSWER WAS BABYSHAMBLES!! IT WAS, IT WAS!

Oh yes and the final outcome: well, the under 18′s team actually won by one point, except because all old people are supposedly clever we didn’t get anything. And I would like to point out Georgia’s biased account mentioned above. I would also like the mention that the Bens’ team lost - wonder why. They lost by half a mark. Ouch.

yes, any way. I will finish off briefly. The team that contained georgia, philip antony and lucy were fantastically clever and did majorly well. They came third out of a thousand teams. I think aswell as a certificate they should have got sweets, money, CDs etc. seeing as they were so clever.
