The Explorers had their first meeting on Friday 11 January 2008…

We discussed our potential programme for the next few weeks. And we got our ‘Erik the Red’ scarves.

We joined the Scouts on Friday, 18th of January 2008, for a visit to St. Mary’s in Twickenham.

On Friday, 25th of January 2008, we had a good games of cards and had a good laugh about the Scouts that had pie all over their faces, hair and clothes (fundraising for the RNLI).

Thursday, 31st of January: four of us (plus some leaders) visited Leander Sea Scouts. They had a Challenge night and luckily our skills at building containers out of paper saved the day… And playing noughts and crosses on 9 chairs proved to be rather interesting!

Friday, 1st of February: we watched ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’. Some of us did dress up …

We helped run the Scout evening on the 8th of February.

29th of February 2008. Back after the holidays - we did some planning work!

Meeting Friday 23rd of March was at Putney Baths, doing scuba try dives with the nice folks at the Aquanaut Training Centre.
