Three Peaks: a group of Explorers/Leaders/Peoplely things has decided to start training to do the three peaks challenge (climb Scafell, Snowdon and Ben Nevis in under 24hrs inc. travelling) sometime this year (on our own though, not the offical thing). The training for this should be starting about april, and will involve hillwalking in the lake district, snowdonia and the grampians. If anyone else is interested in either doing the challenge, or going on some of the training, then talk to Alex.

Bethesda: Various members of the Erik the red ESU (Alex and Kirstyn, as well as James, Karin and Ronelle) recently went to Bethesda in North Wales, where they spend a day exploring the local hills (to be a mountain it has to be over 1000m, and the highest any of us got was 999m). We plan do some more hill walking, with some walks around Richmond Park for the less experienced to build up some confidence.
