we had 2 taster sessions for 6 climbers each booked for 9pm. Every climber under 18 MUST bring a signed parental permission to climb form (or here) or else they will not be able to climb - DON’T FORGET!!

Others are welcome to come and climb as well (James and Alex will be) but either need to be a certified junior, competent adult or climb with a competent adult!

Travel

So far we have the following noble drivers offering to take people to Guildford (and back hopefully!):

• James + max 6 others (Alex, Tabs, Ben, Nick S, Josephine, Philip, Heward)
• Katie’s Dad (Katie, Kirstyn, Letitia)
• Ronelle (Lili, Francis, Nick)

The intention is to leave the Scout hut at 8pm, to be in Guildford, signed in, harnessed up and ready to climb by 9pm! Don’t forget to thank the drivers and offer to clean their car for them.

Cost

Each taster session costs £53: We will try and keep both sessions full with 6 climbers each - then the cost will be £8.82 each, and this include the hire of a harness. You can climb in your trainers, but climbing shoes are much better and will cost an additional £2.50 to hire. There is a cafe there if anyone requires fueling, though it is a good idea to bring an energy or fruit cereal snack and some water!
