The course Alex and James have enrolled on is a beginners course at the westway centre.

The course is generally a four week course with eight hours of climbing, and costs £65 (if you’re under 18), which includes a £10 voucher for the local climbing shop. This is a great course to go on if you’ve given climbing a go before and you want to get into it as a regular thing (or even if you just want a proper introduction to the sport.

If you like the sound of climbing and want to give it a go, then I suggest booking onto a taster session. They’re only about £15 and will give you a good idea as to whether or not climbing is the sport for you.

To book onto the course you need to be 16 or older, although there are other courses around that take younger people (talk to Alex if you want details of these courses). If you want any more info on this or any climbing course, then talk to Alex and he’ll help you get around to climbing.
