This is a general kit list for all camps. Before a specific camp you will get a list indicating what should be taken along.
Pack the following in a rucksack/travelling bag. If we are travelling by train your kit must be in a rucksack. If your sleeping bag is carried separately it must be inside a carrying bag with two handles. When on a train journey only take what you can carry!
- Full uniform for travelling in (unless told specifically not to)
- P&H T-shirt
- Sleeping bag
- Foam mat (Ceri mat)
- Small air pillow or old pillow case (stuff it with a jumper and use it as a pillow)
- Pyjamas or track suit to sleep in (you do NOT sleep in your daytime clothes)
- Windproof top and trousers (ask if there are any spares if you do not have your own)
- Long sleeved jumpers
- Trousers - thin cotton combat trousers, nylon track suit bottoms
JEANS ARE NOT SUITABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN WET
- T-shirts
- Shorts
- Spare socks
- Underwear
- Towel (small)
- Wash kit in plastic bag (toothbrush, toothpaste, flannel, soap, comb)
- Tissues to blow your nose
- Swimming trunks/costume and small towel
- One plastic plate, one cereal bowl, one drinking mug, knife, fork and spoon
- Plastic water bottle - one pint size or larger
- Tea towel - an old one please
- Torch (small), book, favourite teddy, small notebook, pen or pencil
- Woolly hat and gloves
- Whistle (if you have one)
- Plastic bag for dirty washing and bin liner
- Small rucksack or day bag for carrying food during journey and activities at camp
- POCKET KNIFES, PERSONAL RADIOS, CD PLAYERS, GAME BOYS or MOBILE PHONES, ETC ARE NOT ALLOWED
- Plimsolls or trainers for indoors wear, plimsolls or plastic sandals for wateractivities
