Friday, 1st of February 2008: Paul Kershaw visited Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts to present two ‘Jack Petchey Achievement Awards’ – one to the Scouts and the other one to the Explorers.

Our Scout completed all her tasks for the Chief Scout’s Award and was therefore awarded the ‘Jack Petchey Achievement Award’. The money will be used by our whole Scout troop.

Our Explorer group also received an award from the ‘Jack Petchey Foundation’ because one of our explorers has been an outstanding achiever. He has convinced the leaders to start up the Erik the Red unit again as well as helped with Scouts as a Young Leader.
