We are planning various camps for 2010 - we’ll add the information closer to the dates of each camp!


Cooking Badge Day/Sleepover 27/28 February for Scouts and Cubs aged 10+

10h00 meet in uniform at P&H on Saturday.

Return home at 11h00 on Sunday morning.

Advance Notice of Admiralty Recognised Groups Sea Scout Summer Camp - COMPLETED

Dates: 23 to 30 May 2009

Where: HMS Bristol, Whale Island, Portsmouth

Important: Minimum age 12 years

  • 26 July to 2 August: Scouts Summer Camp: Longridge Scout Boating Centre, close to Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

  • 4 −6 July: Walton Firs Borough Camp

  • 13 - 15 June: Scouts - Water activities camp at Thames Young Mariners

  • 1 March 2008: Scouts - Badge Day and Sleepover inside hut - can be day activity or overnight. Backwoods Cooking or Chef’s badge - weather dependent. Radio Communicator badge. A whole weekend of cooking and eating! Cost £10.00

The following camp will have to be rescheduled - there is not enough demand to run it in April

  • 12 - 19 April 2008: Visit to the Isle of Arran for Scouts and older Cubs. This is a very popular annual trip. We hire the Corrie village hall and a community minibus for transport on the island. Cost including everything £ 145.00 - accommodation is basic sleeping on mats on the wooden floor. The hall has good heating, shower facilities and a big kitchen. Parents Welcome

  • 25 - 27 April: Cubs - Canal boat trip on the Grand Union Canal, on the ‘Belfast’ near Hemel Hempstead. Cost £35.00
